The role

You are Gympact, you are the face of the club before, during, and after the workout. You provide members with an unforgettable experience and assist them with any questions they have at the front desk. You give tours to new members, help (new) members with signing up or modifying their membership, engage members about everything related to Gympact, and ensure that the club always looks perfect. In addition, your task is to ensure that members enjoy staying with us for their workouts. This involves regularly chatting with members and keeping them motivated to achieve or exceed their fitness goals! Radiating positive energy towards members is therefore a must!

What will you do?

• Welcome members. Your enthusiasm and hospitality make everyone feel at home, ensuring that members enjoy returning.
• Provide tours to potential members.
• Ensure that new members are registered correctly and provided with the right information and access tags.
• Inform and engage potential members about the memberships and answer all their questions.
• Pay attention to detail and ensure that the club always looks tidy.
• Answer the phone and manage email inboxes; we'll assist you with this, of course!

What do we expect from you?

• You have experience in the Hospitality industry.
• You emit hospitality, and you are always ready to assist with a smile.
• You have a commercial mindset and are customer-oriented.
• You are service-oriented and a social connector.
• You have a can-do attitude and proactively tackle tasks.
• You are a true team player who ensures that the club is taken to the next level together with the team.
• You are available for a minimum of 5 hours.
• You are excited to work in the fitness industry.

Intern

We are an SBB (Foundation for Cooperation on Vocational Education, Training, and the Labor Market) location, which means we train and provide young talent with the opportunity to further develop themselves and prepare for their future roles in the job market.

Education

Each year, we have openings for 2 interns. We primarily seek students from programs such as ALO (Academy for Physical Education), AALO (Academy for Sports, Exercise, and Health), SM&O (Sports Management & Business), Sport & Exercise, Coordinator Sport, Exercise & Health, or students pursuing FitVak A or FitVak B certification.

What will you learn with us?

• The ins and outs of running a gym, including all the aspects involved and what it's like to work in a gym.
• Welcoming members, registering them, and assisting members with their requests.
• Conducting warm-ups, workouts, and cooling down sessions.
• Creating a personalized training program (periodization).
• How to maintain gym hygiene and cleanliness.
• Organizing community events; think of having a DJ in the gym or the Gympact Outdoor Event, a Community Event for our members.
• How to contribute to our social media presence.
