  • I want to sign up, how do I do that?

    Signing up is easy — you can register through our website using this link, or by stopping by the front desk. We’re happy to help you with your registration and answer any questions you may have.


    After signing up, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account. Once your account is activated, you can log in on your phone using the app “Virtuagym: Fitness & Workouts.” Within the Gympact environment, you can manage everything, including booking classes.


    This also activates the QR-code that allows you to open the door during unstaffed hours.

  • Can I train day and night? And on public holidays?

    Absolutely, the gym is open 24/7, 365 days a year. So you can come work out with us even on public holidays.


    Outside of staffed hours, Gympact members can open the front door using the QR code in their app. This access is available exclusively to Gympact’s regular members.


  • Do I need to make a reservation to come work out?

    For group classes, it’s important to book in advance. For Open Gym, you can enter anytime using the QR code in the app. No reservation is needed for this.

  • I want to pause my membership, when is this possible?

    Members with a one‑ or two‑year membership can pause their membership once per year, for example during a holiday. You can decide the length of the pause yourself, as long as it stays within one calendar month. In that case, the end date of the membership will be extended by one month.


    In case of injury or illness, pausing is also possible, provided that you are unable to train for more than a month. A medical certificate from a doctor is required. The membership can be paused for a maximum total of three months. In this situation as well, the end date of the membership will be extended by the duration of the pause.


  • I want to cancel my membership, how do I do that?

    Membership cancellations can only be submitted through this link or in writing via email (info.amsterdam@gympact.nl). 


    Please note that a full calendar month’s notice applies. For example, if you cancel on January 15, your membership will continue until the end of February.


    We would greatly appreciate it if you could also share the reason for your cancellation and any feedback you may have. This is, of course, entirely optional. We are always interested in hearing about our members’ experiences and continuously strive to improve our services.


  • I want a personal training program, can you help with that?

    Yes, absolutely! 


    With all our memberships, you have the opportunity every 8 weeks to sit down with a trainer for a personal training program. When you sign up, you immediately receive one credit for such an appointment.

    During this session of up to 30 minutes, you’ll discuss your goals and together we’ll create a tailored program. 


    Already following your own program and want us to take a look at it? That’s possible as well.

    You can easily schedule the appointment yourself through the Virtuagym Fitness app. Log in with your Gympact account, go to ‘Appointment Schedule’, scroll down, and select ‘Training Program’. Then choose a day and time that works best for you!


  • Personal Training, how does that work?

    You can choose to purchase 1, 4, 8, or 12 monthly personal training sessions. These personal training sessions are available in combination with a valid membership. During each session, you receive one full hour of personal attention!

  • I’m pregnant, what impact does that have on training?

    Gefeliciteerd! Wij bieden pre- en postpartum workouts aan door trainers die gespecialiseerd zijn in het trainen van vrouwen tijdens en na hun zwangerschap. Tijdens het maken van een persoonlijk trainingsprogramma, zal de trainer rekening houden met jouw persoonlijke situatie en kijken wat er nodig is voor een optimaal herstel.


  • I have an injury, what do I do now?

    First, let one of the trainers know what injury you have sustained. The trainer can then assess which muscle groups can still be trained. At Gympact, we have trainers with a background in physiotherapy who are happy to help! If necessary, you can pause your membership for up to 3 months, provided you can show a medical certificate from your doctor. Membership pauses are only possible for full calendar months.

  • I’ve signed up, how do I find the Gympact app?

    Zodra je je hebt aangemeld voor een lidmaatschap of rittenkaart bij Gympact, ontvang je een e-mail met een link. Let op! Deze mail kan in jouw spam box terecht komen. Klik op de link om jouw account te activeren. Stel een emailadres en wachtwoord in. Zodra je account geactiveerd is, ga je over naar je mobiel om de "Virtuagym Fitness" app te downloaden via de App Store of Google Play Store. Zodra de app is geïnstalleerd, kun je inloggen met je emailadres en wachtwoord. Je doorloopt een aantal standaard stappen in de app en kunt wat persoonlijke gegevens invullen. En de Gympact app is klaar voor gebruik!

  • Are there lockers, and do I need a lock?

    Yes, lockers are available. You’ll need to bring your own lock.
